1. Opening a new account with Sterling Ventures
All purchasing is on pro-forma basis. Before registration is accepted, Sterling Ventures may perform checks with various data agencies, who may record information supplied by prospective buyers.
By applying for registration such prospective buyers agree to this sharing of information.
Once registered, buyers can order goods shown on this website at the prices stated for quantities specified.
Prices exclude VAT & freight charges where applicable.
2. Freight
England, Scotland and Wales: Standard 3-day delivery (working days) is free for orders over £750.
Orders placed before the 11 am cut-off time will be processed the same day and will be delivered in accordance with your delivery request.
Minimum order for delivery is £50 with an extra charge for delivery.
Standard Delivery charges:
• £9.99 + VAT for orders of up to £100.
• £19.99 + VAT for orders between £100 – £250.
• £39.99 + VAT for orders between £250 – £750.
• Free for orders over £750.
Next-Day Delivery charges:
• £14.99 + VAT for orders of up to £100.
• £24.99 + VAT for orders between £100 – £250.
• £44.99 + VAT for orders above £250.
Extra charges of £79.99 apply for deliveries to Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
Freight to Europe: Please email us for a quote.
We can arrange delivery to other countries on request. Please email for a quote.
Delivery will be made to the address specified by the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to track their consignments with the tracking number provided & to contact us if a consignment is more than 2 days late.
Lower value orders may be accepted for collection from our warehouse in Nechells, Birmingham. Please email us on business@sterlingventures.co.uk for such orders.
If orders aren’t full pallets they may be delivered in parts within the set time frame of 3-days or next day delivery.
3. Payment
Payments will be taken directly once you place an order and you would be sent an email confirmation with the order number. If any stock is unavailable, we will contact you directly and offer refunds / replacements as per Buyer’s discretion.
4. Returns/Cancellations
Notification of a return request must be received within 7 days of the order placement.
Returned goods supplied correctly are subject to a 20% handling charge & the customer’s arrangement & payment of carriage.
Goods supplied incorrectly or damaged will be arranged & paid for return by Sterling Ventures, on receipt of photographic verification of such damage or incorrect supply.
Refunds in this case are as required by the customer.
5. Warranty
All products are guaranteed free of faulty materials & manufacture, consistent with their designed usage. Liability of Sterling Ventures is limited to the invoice value of any item causing consequential loss to a customer.
Use of this website & any internet links accessed through it is at the liability of the buyer. Sterling Ventures do not guarantee that it or the server is free of malicious internet activity.
